How do I replace a Rhinoflex Fitting?

The swivel bayonet connector at the rv end on my Rhinoflex sewer hose has developed a leak. Can I remove the fitting, trim an inch or so, and then replace? If so, how?

Thanks.
  • If it's leaking where the hose connects the fitting, then yes, you can trim some hose. Loosen the locking ring, unscrew the connector and trim.
If it's leaking at the fitting inself, time to replace it.
  • Where the hose attaches to the fitting, the fitting shows how to turn to lock/unlock. Turn it to unlock and the hose can be pulled off.

The time to discover this "feature" is NOT when you are dumping. Don't ask.
