Yes, he can use that 10 amp charger for the in storage routine as described.
He still needs to look after his Lifelines the rest of the time, so that 10 amp charger won't do that. IMO best to have a charger that can do it all, like the one I recommended. But first you have to know what to do with it, which the OP can learn, same as we all did starting out RVing.
