Be sure it's the element gone bad. Most heat chambers are 2 feet above the base buried in fibergkass whuch is under thin galvanized sheet metal. Use nitrile gloves and goggles or risk a trip to an opthomologist to get fiberglass fibers get dug out of your corneas. Follow the pair of fiberglass insulated wires to the element.
