There are two answers depending on who provides the park's cable
ONE: You do not connect the park cable to the HDMI port (One exception) You connect it to the ANTENNA port.. Just like the OTA antenna... The TV (One exception) Decodes the QAM digital signals from the park cable and converts it internally
The exception is ELEMENT TV's. only TV's made in the USA, they do not have QAM Detectors so read on
Some Cable companies are now encrypting everyting COX, I believe, is one such but please don't quote me on that... For these companies you need a SET TOP BOX provided by the cable company.. IT has an HDMI out. that connects to your HDMI in on the TV. You will have to get one of those from the park office if needed and likely pay a fee.
