It's "QAM", not "QUAM".
And ALL current TV brands have ATSC ("OTA") tuners.
I think the qualifier is explaining the difference between a TV and a MONITOR. I believe that a TELEVISION(TV) will always have a OTA/Cable type tuner. The cable side when set to Cable will tune in the 14 thru 120 plus VHF channels that NON Cable box systems provide. Some retail companies sell a Monitor that is and will work on Cable systems that do NOT use Coax to the TV, but use HDMI or Component video cables. When purchasing that new TV, you must make sure it IS a Television and not a Monitor. When going thru ads for "TV's" I notice that when you see a price difference between retailers, that cheaper price is because it is NOT a real TV but a Monitor without the tuner. Doug
