Inverter mounted on a plate.
Cut an aluminum or galvanized flat plate slightly wider but same length as inverter. Slightly wider so that mounting the inverter with velcro or high strenght adhesive to the plate, the slightly wider plate will allow drilling holes at the mounting locations. I think the high strenght adhesive will be the best choice as plugging and unplugging will try to torque the unit away from the plate. Unless you use industrial strength velcro it will probably pull away. Industrial strenght velcro is available at major home stores.
Well that there is the winning solution.
I don't mind gluing (epoxy) the sheet metal to the bottom of the inverter.
Good solution. Thank you! - chainegangExplorerInverter mounted on a plate.

- pianotunaNomad IIII used velcro. I lucked out and found a piece that was 3" x 5"
- 2oldmanExplorer III tried finding a manual on that inverter, but the website won't respond.
Before permanently mounting, I'd run it and see where it gets hot. - BC_ExplorerExplorer

Have you mounted a small inverter that has no mounting bracket feet?
Many years ago I mounted a small 300 watt inverter in our popup using a DIY bracket ... - obgrahamExplorerDouble-side grip tape. There is a heavy duty variety.
