Everything i do with my bank of 4 batteries uses 4AWG cables. Does ok... Now I am down to three 12V Batteries so its even better I guess...
Measuring right at the battery terminals I see 52-53 AMPS DC current using my PD9260C 60 Amp controller.
I really probably should run a 2AWG cable on my setup if I eventually go with the 80AMP Converter/charger setup.
I think 2AWG is as big as I can go with my 8-ton hand crimper tool I use here.
