I'd be a little cautious - might be worth load testing those batteries. If the boss gave up on solar after one year (judging by the interconnection wires - he doesn't know how to make solar work). Chances are, those batteries have been chronically under-charged for the whole year.
Valid point. Hopefully I'll get some details on the system when I call. Is load testing on a deep cycle the same as a starting battery? It would take a while but I could check the SG.
