That looks like the same LED strips many of us purchased and installed. If you cut yours to length, you may want to seal the end off with silicone. My strip had moisture in it after a few outings then certain colors stopped working. The lights were cool while they lasted but we only got one season out of them.
You probably did not get the waterproof version... They seal themselves at the cut...I have 2 rolls waiting for nice weather it be in stalled....
