Inside ceiling lights not working - do I have a short?

Camping trailers are basic, so START BASIC

  • Remove and clean the chassis negative (ground) wire at both ends
  • Are the wire terminals connected to the battery not clean and shiny? Replace the ends
  • There is a fuse panel somewhere? Behind it are screw or tab wire connectors -- shinem up
  • Some butt may have a butt connector underneath the trailer to have one wire split into two. Usually people do a parallel splice wrong. Leaving a wire loose
  • Use the existing lights burning as a reference.
