Intellitec 900 Energy Management Problem

Intellitec 900 Energy Management System in 2003 Revolution 40C. Everything works fine on 50A generator power, no 50A shore power available to test with.

With 30 Amp shore power energized the remote display always indicates 50 Amp service. Non controlled breakers are NOT powered, all controlled power breakers are powered 120 VAC. No power at breaker or relay 1 & 3 (non-controlled). Breaker & relay 2 & 4 are powered (controlled). There is 12 VDC at the fuse.

Have not accessed the remote display, how is it attached to the wall? It looks like the face plate should pop off but don't want to break it.
  • The EMS system does NOT affect the NON controlled breakers. Non Controlled----You do mean the breakers that do NOT shedd when the EMS shedds --Correct? You have 120 power to the breaker panel---The 2- 50 amp breakers will each have 120 volts on 30 and 50 amp. I have NEVER seen a Intellitec EMS system show 50 amps when 50 amps is NOT available. You need to check the 50 amp breakers at the breaker panel for 120 volts. Doug

Line 1 120 VAC, Line 2 zero VAC at the intellitec 50 A breaker & also in the transfer panel from shore power. The breakers that shed power have 120 VAC (Washing machine, A/C units etc.) The non shed breakers (receptacles & inverter/battery charger) have zero VAC. Last night I put the inverter/charger on a shed line just to charge the battery which worked fine. Light still says 50A continuously.
  • DUH:S:S:o I am so stupid !!! Argh Thanks doug for setting me straight, as soon as I hit send on my last reply I realized that I didn't see the forest for the trees. Loose plug from the shore power reel into the coach did it. Thank you!
  • Thats what I was going to say to check. I had an open L2 in my plug but my EMS said 30A (Intellitec). Everything worked fine when on the genset.
