Thanks for the suggestion. It is a PowerLine system, and for now it has stopped flashing. If it continues, I'll shut everything off as you suggested. My batteries have a disconnect switch by the entry door- can I just shut those off those off there or do I need to pull a cable off the batt post?

Whenever you do a battery disconnect to kill 12 volt power, ALWAYS disconnect either the ground cables or the positive cables AT the battery bank. There are sometimes loads connected directly to the battery bank that do NOT go thru the Battery disconnect.
1. The Inverter/Charger if you have one is not affected by the disconnect
2. Some CO/LP detectors are connected directly to the battery bank bypassing the disconnect solenoid. Doug
