Interior cooling fan for Norcold 4 Door 12VDC power
After a sucessful install of an Amish cooling unit last year it's now time to install a fan internally.
Ordered the fan from rvcooling units. It a real nice fan with two small pancake fans. Also has a switch that can be used to turn t off if need be.
I'm wondering if I'll have to run a power line to the back of the fridge. I have a 4 pin plug behind the light. Two leads for the light, and two leats for the temp sensor that clips to the fins. Now, I tested the plug with a volt meter & see the 12VDC when BOTH door switches are closed. With the light off I see NO 12VDC at ANY of the pins.
Has anybody been able to get 12VDC w/o running a wire to the rear of the fridge. Must be 12vdc at the door switch, ideas?
Thanks
