I should clarify the situation.
Below is a dealer photo of the front compartment. Batteries on the left of the generator in a vented battery box.

Battery box is vented to the outside of the trailer. Regarding "sealing" the box, I was referring to the lid, cable holes, etc, so no gas escapes into the compartment.
The inverter would be mounted in this compartment, above the generator box, but still in close proximity to the batteries.
My assumption is that if the battery box is correctly vented, the inverter can be in the same compartment?
