rjxj,
You have forgotten about Peukert.
Nope. 135 ah down in 15 hours is only 9 amp average draw on 6 gc2. At worst it may be 14 to 15 amps when 2 items are on at the same time. Doesn't seem that it would cut the potential available amps in half but that is the general trend that I have noticed over the last 3 1/2 years.
Also not inverting to anything heavy. 5.x amp draw led television. 5.x amp furnace and 6.x amp frig. I would surely consider peulert more if I did use the 2000 inverter for big stuff as my toaster alone is 90 amps and the coffee maker hits 120!!! I tried a couple items on the old battery pack and didn't think it was the best approach for a group of sams club batteries.
It is very curious that the error is twice (or half) with either battery set. (as opposed to some odd number)
Got to be the Trimetric/shunt in some way? Bogart has an upgrade for older Trimetrics-- replaces the firmware I think, forget details.
BTW, I have no trouble with inverter draws of around 100 amps on four 6s with the same sort of 6s Sam's sells. (Interstate and Exide)
With six 6s you have the same balance problem as with three 12s. I don't bother with the correct method with links all over the place. I just pretend it is the same as four 6s and put the load on the outside two sets. The middle set isn't worked as hard, but I swap them around every so often.
