I might not notice the power loss, since my inverter is always on and the transfer switch is automatic.
If it were 3am no problem, my batteries can carry everything until quiet hours ends and then I'd start the generator, get to making breakfast.
If it were 11pm and the power went out, I'd have to switch off the A/C compressor (easy dial on the ceiling), water heater is already gas only.
Maybe I'd worry about the fridge, maybe not, depends how tired I am :)
