That Cetek is fair amount of money for a 12V charger but might be an easy solution for some folks.
My solar system has temp comp and floats the batteries at whatever voltage I choose. It also has equalization cycle but I don't use it. To get that same type of charging with a stand-alone charger, I would use one of those Harbor Freight chargers (ones with the large transformer) and a variac to control voltage. Mex outlined the procedure in one of his posts and I can't find it.
