Lance 2013, 1172 Solar Panel Fuses

PLEASE NOTE MY 1172 IS EARLY VERSION BATTERY IN MIDDLE REAR.

I noticed that my solar panel is not producing any Amps while parked in the sun. I went thru diagnostics with volt meter and panel only produces 9.47 volts. Mfr is sending a new panel, so my concern is where are the fuzes between panel and batteries? Where they are not is as follows: Not at disconnect switch, not in battery box which is in rear center on my camper, not behind the solar controller, not under step to bunk (that I can deciper), so I am still searching. If you can describe or show a picture worth a 1000 words. This is an early version of the 1172...battery in rear NOT under steps. I will also check with Lance...but thought someone may know.

You can only be sure of this if you measure it directly on the connector box at the back of panel.

As noted, there are probably no fuses before controller. (And if there are fuses and they blew, there shouldn't be any volts on the controller input terminals).
  • No fuses, but there are considerations with wire connectivity at the panel. There should be a fuse between battery and controller but nothing but perfect connections between controller and panel.
  • Good question not sure cause I cannot find...but manual wiring diagram shows one behind 12v. disconnect switch but there are no fuzes on those wires?
