Looking at the trim I need to remove to get in there concerns me as all the "star" screws look stripped. Well, I spent today working on installing an auxiliary fuel tank in the truck, so back to the slide tomorrow.

Your comment about the stripped screws shows you are not knowledgable about the Jayco install. You have a 2 year warranty. Is the unit out of warranty? The screws are unscrewed and screwed in with a No. 2 square bit. The screws do not look like square bit screws but the No. 2 will engage and unscrew. There should be NO such screws to remove to disconnect the Schwintek system motors. Doug(Jayco dealer Technician)
