Re-reading my previous post I realize that I implied Lippert manufactured the pump. The pump unit was manufactured by CMS (Controlled Motion Systems), the directional relay was manufactured by Trombetta Motion Technologies and the pump tank itself could have been manufactured by just about anyone.
However, these components were assembled, warranted and sold by Lippert as a unit. Therefore, Lippert would be responsible for knowledge of the pump, electrical specifications and operation, tank interoperablility, repair, and maintenance of such system. Hiding behind the "Well we didn't manufacture that, so we wouldn't be knowledgable of the interoperability or repair of the components" just doesn't cut it!
The fact of the matter is, just like most other things on RV's (repair vehicles) it is of poor quality and suitablility to task.
