I have an 03 Montana and have had the same leak from the Lippert pump. It first happened in 2010. It started leaking when the outside temp hit 99F. I went through the same motions as many others have done, go to the dealer. We all know that does no good, however my dealer referred me to a local dealer in gaskets and "o" rings (they actually manufacture them). They sold me a replacement o-ring and it stopped the leak. Then again this summer when the temp hit the high 90's it started to leak again. This indicates that the plastic tank swells in high heat, more than the pump does. Needless to say but the o-ring has to be tight enough to allow for this expansion.
This time I took the pump with me to get a replacement. What I found was the inner diameter of the o-ring was too big. I believe it was the original spec o-ring but it was not tight in the pump groove. It fit the plastic tank but allowed fluid to leak under the o-ring. I am having a couple of different sizes made for me, both an o-ring and a quad ring with the next smaller inner diameter and a slightly larger cross section to see which fits better. I should have them next week. I think he was going to a #347 (4 1/4" with a .25 CS. If that does not work I will go to a #348 X 3/16" CS. I will go with whichever gives me the tightest fit to the tank.
