I installed the RECON LED tail lights on my truck, they have built in circuitry to prevent the fast flash from occurring. They work fine... this is on a 2009 Silverado 2500HD.

As for your camper, try these:
4" round LED tail lights
They use the same connector that all 4" round tail lights use, so there shouldn't be any splicing involved to install them.,
