No you wouldn't. The "orange orb" lasts for hours.
The real actual honest 600-watt CREE fixture is under construction. Powered by a pair of 350-watt Meanwells. 24" x 6" x 3" 11-fin heatsink with three 20-watt fans. Enclosure LEXAN. The power supplies remain protected. Using 12-gauge 4-conductor 50' in length. The CREE chips are twenty four dollars each. The three fans are 50-volt totally enclosed oil bath lubed ball bearing.
"Under Construction" means monthly purchases of components. Sealing the Lexan against salt air is going to be a job and a half. It's 1/2" thick.
