LED puck light conversion

I have seen many posts on this subject but very few posters list a source for the bulbs. I was told that there are some Chinese sellers on ebay with a quality product. Apparently if you buy in bulk they are reasonable in price. Any help appreciated.

I've bought "factory" direct from China before, usually found the seller on eBay and then negotiated the purchase through e-mail. To use ebay as an escrow service of sorts, they set up a private auction for you, and you make payment through ebay.

"bulk" implies hundreds of units, not five or ten. smallest order I made was about 400 units.

expect to get a letter from Fedex/UPS/USPS that you owe an import duty when your shipment arrives. It wasn't very much, I was able to pay mine online.

The quality was as expected based on what I paid. The factory did send some samples before I completed the order.

    Not sure about puck light.

What most people do, is convert their dome lights from regular bulbs to LED.

If your bulbs have wedge socket like mine, this was my source: 10 pcs T10/921. Same color and brightness as the old ones. They draw several times less power, so people sometimes opt for brighter LED with higher wattage - which would still be lower than the old bulbs. They come with other socket types as well.

Or you can get LED "boards" with the socket on short pigtail.
