I replaced the original decorative light fixture with 4 small bulbs with a single LED fixture. I did it in a way so that I could easily reinstall the original fixture if I later chose to do so. The new fixture uses far less power than the original fixture with 4 X 40-watt incandescent bulbs.
But simply turning on the inverter (Heart Freedom 2000) when boondocking seems to consume about 2 amps (~24 watts) before powering up any 120-volt lights. My goal is to further reduce the time I need to run the inverter when boondocking.
