- Old-BiscuitExplorer IIIALL RV absorption fridges......level
RV AC Unit.......doesn't matter (as long as it's not upside-down) - nineoaks2004ExplorerIt being out of level does not bother the A/C it is a sealed compressed system, in fact some require that an A/C be tilted to the rear to properly drain. The Reefer in most cases in not a compressor operated system and has to fairly level, meaning that if you are comfortable it will operate correctly. Some of the older units did require them to be level, but newer ones do not.
- Thunder_MountaiExplorer IIIf you can sleep without rolling out of the bed, the AC will be more comfortable than you!
- Hank_MIExplorerI wouldn't worry about it. You see a lot of 5th wheels with the AC mounted on a slop where the roof drops from the front to rear section.

I know the trailer should be level for the fridge, but how level for the ac unit to be ok
The AC uses a Freon/compressor system rather than the ammonia/absorption system standard RV fridges use. The compressor systems are much less level sensitive. - SoundGuyExplorer

If it's level enough for you to be comfortable it's level enough for both the fridge and the A/C.
