- taylorgExplorerThanks for all of the information. I actually dug into the system and found that it is actually a Venture Mfg. system. I took the motor and gear drive off and put it back together adjusting the plastic sleeve on the shaft (not much adjustment room) so everything at this time appears to be working fine now.

Mine wobble and flop very slightly. - HuntindogExplorerThe motor is supposed to move. It is mounted to an inner C channel that slides inside a larger C channel. This is how the jacks self adjust to uneven ground. There are cheaper versions on the market that do not have this feature. I imagine that their motor is mounted solid... But I also don't see how one could possibly stabilize a TT easily with that design.

It's from Venture Mfg. which is used in a lot of rigs.... - StefoniusExplorer

Yep... Looked there. They have nothing maintenance or service-related available for viewing or download. :(
Have you looked Here? Lippert Components - dbblsExplorerThe motor and gear box wiggle and flop around during operation. It is normal. If something is binding it is probably a bent leg.

Does anybody know where I can locate a diagram/schematic for the Lippert electric landing gear system for an rv. I am diagnosing why the gear drive and motor wobble and bind up when it is being lowered or raised.
If you are talking about the STABILIZER LCI system, wiring would have no bearing on your problem. The problem is mechanical. Same if you are talking about the front Hitch electric tongue jack. Motor Wobble on LCI stabilizers is normal, Binding is NOT unless you overloaded the stabilizers and bent the stabilizer arms/frame. These are stabilizers, NOT levelers. If you try to use them to level the trailer you will bend them. Doug- BipeflierExplorerHave you looked Here? Lippert Components
- Mandalay_ParrExplorerDid you call Lippert?
Jerry - StefoniusExplorerI'd love to find a schematic for that as well. My gear makes "1970's Dr. Who" sound effects when it's being lowered. I'm hoping that if I find the right spot to add grease, it will settle down a bit.
