Looking for an oven knob thats No Longer Available

try rvdrgeorge.com in sacramento... he has warehouses of used/old stuff. I'll bet he has one. I've had old 70' & 80's rv's & he's had everything I need. you can contact him & give him info and picture.
He even had a hubcap for an old trailer of a friend of mine. Very reasonable prices.

Walked out to the rig and pulled the numbers off of the stove;

I'd like to know what type of lubricant should be used on gas valves?

I think I'll walk out to the coach & get the model number off of the stove, post the model & then try some of the links above.

When this happened to mine I glued the broken piece back with JB weld then cut a piece of tubing and slid it over the cracked piece and glued it in place. Once the knob is installed you can't see the repair.

For some odd reason Magic Chef discontinues parts like crazy. I had a heck of a time finding some little plastic E-clips because Magic Chef discontinued them. Had to go to a salvage yard and get used ones.

YMMV, but I will never buy anything from Magic Chef since their part support is so poor.

I needed a little switch for my oven because it would not stay lit and they do not make them anymore due to the mercury SO I HAD TO BUY A NEW STOVE/OVEN to the tune of $700. I should have looked online or something before authorizing the dealer to get me a new oven. Sometimes I am such a patsy for these dealers.

I checked out Robsouths link (missing now) and it looked like the knob I was looking for! I went ahead and ordered. Stay tuned to find out if it's the correct knob.
