- ktmrfsExplorer IIa REAL hardware store. maybe a big box store, but my local ACE hardware has literally hundreds of left hand thread hardware in fractional and metric sizes, along with things like "elevator bolts", (yes there is such a thing), kep nuts, tinnerman nut assortments, other captive nuts, external torx, stainless and grade 8 hardware and all kinds of uncommon hardware. Literally five 30 ft long floor to ceiling aisles of nuts, bolts and fasteners. Want a box, they have them, want only 1, that as well.
- dcg9381ExplorerYou'll probably have to order it. You need to start with identifying the thread (it's metric) and length. Do that and someone can probably post a link.
- agesilausExplorer IIIIf it is Chinese there is a chance it will be metric
- RoyBExplorer IIPEPBOYS has a hugh stock of automotive bolts...
Roy Ken - newman_fulltimeExplorer IIcompare99.com will have the bolt
- Johno02ExplorerLeft-handed threads are common on many wheel applications, where the normal tougue would tend to loosen a right-hand thread. Examples are the pedals on a bicycle. one side is left-handed. As I have not changed a tire myself in many years, I do not know about modern cars, But in my day, auto wheel studs were left-handed on one side. If you didn't know that, you could work for days trying to change a wheel.
- Old-BiscuitExplorer IIIYou are looking for a 'left hand threaded bolt'
Bolt and nut store if you have one.
ACE Hardware MAY have some in those little gray boxes.
You need to know size/pitch/length (Example 1/4" (dia) 20 SAE (20 threads to inch Standard) 1 1/2" length
OR most likely metric M6 x 1 (1/4 20) - Bird_FreakExplorer IIMight try Fasten-all.

- You're looking for a left hand thread bolt. If you do a websearch you'll find plenty of places list them. You'll need to know the exact size (diameter, length, and pitch) and grade hardness.
