It was said "potable water". Water that people carry in fresh water tank doesn't really qualify.
Oh I "got" what you were saying. I would suggest it is you who have the severe cognitive dysfunction.
You seem to believe that these TTs we pay a lot of money for should not be expected to provide the modern features such as running water, bathrooms etc that we enjoy at home... IOW tenting in a box on wheels...
Reading the OPs last post, his trip would have went a lot smoother had he done as I suggested: Fill the FW tank, disconnect the FW hose, and USE the self contained feature of the TT he paid for.
He would have awakened to running water, that means working toilets, sinks and showers. Of course that would require a lot more water than what a human needs to SURVIVE... There are plenty of survival shows on TV. I doubt very many RVers are wanting to experience a SURVIVAL scenario in their RV.
