lp guage accuracy
I know you can only fill the tank to about 80% but I am wondering if the gauge should read full when it is filled to capacity. Mine only shows about 3/4 full when it is filled. Is this normal?

Non adjustable LP gauges (remote panel) will usually only show 3/4. Which is NORMAL as they only hold 80%. You want to quibble 5%????:B
Adjustable Remote panels, you CAN adjust to full or 100%, but it is a false level, as you may run out when it shows 1/4. LP tanks do NOT have any baffles, so when you are moving the Liquid sloshes and if you watch the LP gauge on the remote panel, you will see it hit full and then down. Doug
