Just installed new 7,000# Dexter complete axles w/ brakes and hubs, one month ago. Tightened wheel lug nuts to 120 ft lbs. Wanted to remove the wheels to paint them and the lug nuts are very tight ...

120 is probably minimum on 7000 pound axles. Depends on stud size.
