DEKA and MK (Both East Pen Battery) are the only batteries 100% US made. others are made in the USA of lead imported from other companies but East Penn has its own Lead Smelting plant so they make from 100% US Lead.

IN 2014 I put a pair of DEKA G-20's (A CG-2 type battery) in my RV. I think it was something like May when I did this.
THIS YEAR like in Feburary. for the 1st time. I had to add water..
My original Interstates. when new it was an annual mob (Every mother's day).
But the DEKA's went 4 years.. Yes there are a few changes. but not that many and not that recent (The changes result in a slower recharge) but even with the changes the Interestates needed 4x the water .
