Do you boondock or otherwise run the micro/convection via an inverter from your batteries? Is so you might want to consider a Panasonic inverter model. ("inverter" in this case refers to the circuitry the microwave uses to produce and reduce power and has nothing to do with the inverter supplying 120 VAC from the batteries.)
The Panasonic Inverter ovens reduce the power to the magnetron rather than allow the unit to draw full power and pulse it on and off. Much better for the batteries. They are also much more efficient.
