Magnum CSW1012 vs Xantrex ProWatt SW1000
Been looking at the Magnum CSW1012 but can't find much for reviews on it. I like how it outputs 1000w continuous vs the Prowatt at 900w continuous, it's also a little smaller and lighter but cost $75 ...

What's so difficult to understand? There's no sense installing a 1500 watt or larger inverter if it's not wired to properly handle a full load and that in turn requires significantly heavier gauge cable than does a smaller 1000 watt inverter. A bank of fully charged GC-2s will run a 1000 watt but any more than that and you're going to need a heavier battery reserve. So let's say you go ahead and spend the $$$$ to do all the aforementioned but then after the fact never come close to ever using that 1500 watt inverter to it's full capacity. Kinda pointless ... no? :)
