I considered converting to 24v in my truck camper, but decided not to when I started to see how much current the jacks could draw. A 24v to 12v with sufficient current to power the jacks was not cheap, and the other choices was doing a 12v tap on the 24v pack, and totally re-wire the connection to the jack controller.
So I simply made sure to keep the 2/0 cables in the 1ft to 3ft range, and not worry about it. I also wired the batteries in a star type configuration, so all the current did not have to flow in a single cable.
