Major elec problems.

With the fuse blown, do a thorough check of what is not working. Then turn all of those items off. Make sure you have plenty of fuses. Once everything is off put in a new fuse. Go to the furthest item from the box and turn it on. If the fuse does not blow that is not your problem. Turn it off again and go to the next item. Continue toward the box until you turn on something and the fuse blows. This should narrow down the area of your problem. I just went through this last week. The problem was an overhead light. After removing that light from the ceiling I noticed a metal panel the wires went under. The wire rubbed through under that metal panel. Just read your post again. Breaker is kicking not fuse.
