Map lights 2001 holiday rambler imperial

Ok, another newbie question. We have switches on both driver and passenger side that are printed with "map lights". Is there a secret combination to get these to work? I feel like I've tried everything, but am finding in this lifestyle things aren't always where you would expect them to be.

I have already tried replacing the bulbs. Is there a hidden fuse somewhere?

Any and ALL suggestions are appreciated.
