Let me back up a second and be more clear. Sorry, the sun for the last few days has fried my brain!
I want a new Dometic unit. Speaking to Doug, or anyone else who wants to chime in, when you say control package, what are you referring to? When I look in the ceiling there is a silver box with wires coming out of it, where the main power from the RV hooks into it. IS that what you are talking about?
I want to replace everything. Right now I have a thermostat that has manual switches. System with cool, furnace and off, Fan either auto or on, and hi and lo for the fan, along with the thermostat itself.
If I wanted to go with a digital one, is it hard? Like would the new unit require me to fish wires down the wall? Sorry for so many questions, but I am looking to order a new unit today or tomorrow and try to install this week.
