I just checked and found that the "converter circuit breaker" (located inside the house-chassis batteries interconnect relay control system) is responsible for a big voltage loss. Almost as much as all the other "wiring" combined. It can easily be bypassed when I re-do the mess. I'll have to find a fuse or CB that is better.
Remember also that circuit breakers by their very nature operate on heat, thus a voltage drop. So the closer the current is to their trip point, the more heat. Only way around this is to have one twice the size you need, but then you loose your wiring protection. Kinda a necessary evil.
