Another advocate for two or more chargers is redundancy. The airframe folks have that figured out.
Hopefully, your solar system will do the bulk of your battery charging. My ancient PD converter hasn't been used in a few years. For extreme battery coddling (equalization), I can use my shop charger that will get everything stirring nicely. As it is, the Morningstar controller can do equalization with a few mouse clicks. It's easier, at most times, to connect the high output shop charger than to connect the laptop and modify the settings in the controller's software.
The over-riding fact of battery charging for my RV is that solar does a better job than I ever could messing around with multiple chargers and reconfiguring the 12V system.
These type of Manual reset breakers have very low resistance and can also operate as a switch.
