And yes, in a pinch, the mod pm could serve as a converter, as well, simply by lowering its voltage to a suitable level. And the pm3's float at 13.2v, so a mod pm3 could surely be dialed down to 13v, or so.
Or am I missing something?
All true, but I worry about changing the voltage too many times with that little blue pot. Lots of factors, which is why Snowman is still dithering :)
