The Caig products are very good. I haven't found any deoxidizer that works as well as Deoxit. Deoxit Gold is good, too, provides shielding to contacts. You guys haven't spent real money until you get a bottle of Faderlube. I'm almost afraid to use the stuff, lol.
BTW, I can relate to the phone charging wackiness. I have a couple of Iphones with trashed contacts and bad batteries. It's almost cheaper to buy a new phone than to fix the d*&^ things.
