Metal heat grates in floor.
Anybody know where I can find a metal floor grate for my TT. Our tt is 10 years old and I stepped on one the other day and a couple of the pieces snapped. Thanks.

- You can also find them- and pretty much every a/c and heat vent- at the D & W website
- We have found them in WalMart, but the store has to be located in a colder area of the country where the vents are common in houses.
- We also ordered the grates from Amazon. They do not fit quite right in my TT. Just a we bit smaller than the ones we replaced. Still better than the plastic but I can see the sloppy trim job on the floor covering around one. May go back to plastic.:(

Yours are probably like ours and are 2x10 vs the normal 4x10 and in that case many Lowes does carry the brown metal 2x10 size, but if you want another style/color you will probably need to special order them like I did from Amazon. You need to look for the 2x10 since they only have that one color in that size and it's sort of hard to find buried in all the other more standard sizes.
Larry- Ours are the 4x10 vents. Home Depot or Lowes carry several styles.
