Mex, ok so I do have to run them down a bunch and do a 20% rate recharge every so often if only ever doing shallow cycles. Got it.
That is similar to when I had the Flooded batts and the drill was to "exercise" them every so often with a deep cycle to 50%
At least I don't have to do that every time. That would be an extreme PITA, but every so often is doable. Thanks!
(The Tri says they are now down to 1.7 amps on the 450AH bank at 14.5v, so under the 0.5a per 100. I will crank the charger down to 13.5v and declare victory.
One of these days when it is more convenient, I will do the 50% deep cycle and above 20% recharge on each battery in the bank individually to make sure each is getting its proper amount.
EDIT--Gordon Three, yes there is a problem. The AGMs will not let me use an hydrometer so I have no idea what is really going on in them. All I can do is what Mex says, and cross my fingers. :)
