Michelin tires last longer than any other brand I've used in 50 years of driving. Overall they're cheapest tire to run even though they cost more upfront. Just replaced a set of Harmony tires on the Toyota pickup that went over 80K miles, replaced with Defenders that will probably outlast the truck. I've never had a problem with cracking.
