A few reviews on the Defender tire off the internet:
- I wanted a high mileage tire that would perform well and last. At 32,000 miles my "high" mileage tires are shot.
- ...they were good at first by by the 3rd year(upper midwest weather), they turned into rocks with miserable ride and poor traction in the wet...
- This is DEFINITELY not a low rolling resistance tire.
- These tires are noisy, air pressure difficulties. I had rotated and balanced and now braking is bad.
Some Continental and Goodyear tires have 80,000-mile tires and some Hankook and Kumho tires have 100,000-mile warranties. I wonder how reviews of them compare.
I'd report back in a year to see how they are holding up. ;)
