The switch has four position OFF- BANK1 - BOTH - BANK2 Great for working on one bank while keeping the other BANK up and running...
My setup here that you have probably seen already using 12VDC batteries has the four position battery switch in each BANK and then I can select banks. This means I can switch ONE battery if I like or any combination up to four being connected or ALL FOUR switched out (OFF). Also is a great BATTERY DISCONNECT setup... Any-ALL-or NONE...
I seem to always find another use for my batteries when camping off the power grid. Being able to separate them doing other things has helped out alot.
My concept is use ANCOR battery cables with ANCOR ring terminals everywhere. Everything is then properly bolted down and protected from the elements using adhesive heat shrink tubing on the made-up terminal ends...
My DUTY always ON INVERTER setup is the AIMS PSW 600WATT INVERTER ($149 AMAZON). I run its two 120VAC receptacles back into the trailer with one multi-tap drop at the Home Entertainment location and the other multi-tap drop back at the Bedroom area. This gives me plenty of emergency 120VAC Pure Sine Wave power when needed camping off the power grid.
Take you time and you can order all of the items from AMAZON just type in the BLUE SEA part numbers. I was getting 50-feet of the good high quality ANCOR Battery Cable for around $50 on a spool from EBAY sales places.
Been Working great for us the past five years and now we are looking into adding SOLAR PANELs to the mix...
Love my OFF-ROAD POPUP Trailer - Goes anywhere my 4WD Truck goes and more important gets me back in one piece.
