MSW Inverter

It likely will ruin the controls...but that's the problem with MSW. You take a chance with it.

Why not just spring for a PSW and hook it up whole-house and be done with it? And you can get rid of the little one too. Much cleaner, way more useful.

I have to run my 2KW Honda generator for three hours each morning when camping off the power grid to re-charge my battery bank. This is when we make our coffee for the day. We like to GRIND AND BREW coffee beans... Our coffee maker brews up into a thermo carafe that stays hot for a very long long time period...

We use the Cuisinart GRIND and BREW Coffee Maker model DGB600BC... Only takes five minutes to brew up into the 10 Cup Double Wall insulated thermal carafe. Great coffee if you always use the same water brand each time...

You did not mention Which MSW inverter
My coffee maker has no problems with my Trip Lite PV1250
How ever it is an old under shelf model with Digital timer
Entirely different circuits then what is being used in newer machines

Like my Copulating Dragon brand AC ammeter / voltmeter with all Wu calligraphy label instead of multi-lingual or an instruction sheet....ya takes yer chances ya plugs er in and the results of the great dilemma are immediate I tell ya!

Is it rated to run motors? If so, go for it. If not, well I hope it was not an expensive coffee pot.

My Cobra 2500 watt inverter did not damage my Nuwave induction cooker--but I did not attempt to run it.

Unfortunately, the question needs to be "will my specific coffee pot work with the go-power 1750 msw inverter"? Only someone who has tested that specific combination can give a correct answer. Other reports will give you statistical info, but will not give a good answer for your device combination. Different coffee pots will have different waveform tolerances. While all modern MSW inverters have the same basic waveform, they vary in terms of pulse width and peak voltage. Added to that, every MSW inverter I know of varies its pulse width and peak voltage based on the DC voltage at its input terminals, so something that works at a high battery SOC could fail at a lower SOC, or vice-versa. The only way you know for certain is to try it, or to go with a PSW inverter which should work ok.

I have read plenty of posts of some random coffee pot does not brew on some random MSW inverter.
Coffee pot seems to survive another day as I don't recall the smoke coming out. Just no worky.

Ummmm, ya sayin' a GO POWER inverter is the same as a MAGNUM inverter?

I bought a stove top percolator. It makes making coffee fun and no need for lots of electricity.

Only way to know if it will work is to try it. My msw inverter ran my 700w industrial kureg okay
