All of their cut cables list 2 different minimums- for the #2, they list 25' and 50'.

Smart people share special buys with friends. This material has no peer (competition). Lesee, 50 feet. Ooooooo about right for running power cable for remote batteries, charging alternator cables in a large motorhome...

I do like the 15' 2/0 minimum for inverters. This stuff will make a laughingstock out of OEM or aftermarket cables for dual engine starting diesel batteries. I simply looooooooove how a person can grab the flapping terminal end of Ford diesel cable and rip six feet of insulation off with one pull using 3-fingers. Chew & Spit planning for the future.

Price welding cable versus the locomotive cable in the link Mex provided. That Locomotive cable is much LOWER cost..

2awg in locomotive cable is $1.54/ft HERE , 2awg welding cable in my area will set you back $3.89/ft in my area..

Bought some 2/0 Xtra flex wire from Skycraft years ago for my inverter for LESS than what my local welding supply shop was selling 2awg welding wire..

You better like that cable, you can only buy it in 50 foot sections

Mex, 500W LED is equivalent to 2,500W incandescent bulb. All the lights in both my trailer and shore home won't amount to 2,500W total. What do you need it for - blinding the pilots of low-flying jets? :)

Which is the EXACT same thing that happens to fuel prices. Nothing to do with supply/demand.

Ferengi women go naked (Quark). I made up a driven 100% 30 watt 10-chip lamp that lights up 2,000 square feet like a stadium night game. The thousand watt unit will have 100,000 lumens at 5K temperature. Eqvt to about 1900 watts of metal halide. Driving LEDs at spec sheet max ma provides an incredible increase in lumens versus commercial lamps. But heatsink cost is daunting. I wish Pabst muffin fans were more affordable :(

I just purchased 35 4" CPU heatsinks with fans for a reasonable price. Each will support a pair of 1,000 lumen 5K chips. 1.9 amperes @ 12.00 volts. Theory is fine but I proof my designs with an IR insection. I "assume" nothing. 20-watts of my fixture renders a surprisingly greater level of illumination than a 26-watt G.E. CFL. The difference is quite significant.

Right you are ... when I divided 500 by 12, I came up with ~4 instead of ~40. I hadn't drunk enough coffee yet.

Forty amp hours. The light bar is true badass. But I tell the Mexicanos there is NO WAY that radiation area can cover 500-watts. Not even close. So I tell them 20 kph minimum speed*. That critter can light up a reflective highway sign at three plus MILES. Five kilometers.

"Your generator can't keep up and when your engine dies, you're screwed". Not EXACTLY fact but I don't want overheating failures. 50,000 lumens is a lot of light. I picked up an eighty amp TYCO relay and a good switch which will be part of the light bar "kit".

Got a feeling if a USA cop came acoss one of these things lit up, he'd draw his .357 and ventilate it.

A 500 watt LED light bar .... wow. I've never see LED lights that powerful.

I oughta get one of those for the RV so I can clean fish at night and be drawing only 4-5 amps/hour from the batteries ... I better be camped way out on the shore opposite all other campers when I do this, though. They might not appreciate having to wear sun glasses at night until I'm done cleaning.
